Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become. I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further develops, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about almost every day. I ordered it from Amazon on a Thursday afternoon. There was an option to sign up for text messaging when it was going to arrive, and I signed up for it. That part didn't work. No message, just delivery. On Friday morning, I got back before noon, and it had already been at the house and taken back for lack of signature! Of course, if I knew, I would have asked a neighbor to accept and sign for it. After a few calls to FedEx, I wound up going there on Monday to pick it up. But how is that for amazingly fast delivery!?! Ordered it on Thursday, at the door on Friday! And I didn't pay extra for it! I love Amazon, or did I say that already? Why did I choose to buy this at Amazon when several other vendors had it for the same price? Because some of the reviews mentioned problems, and I knew that if I got a lemon, Amazon would take it back without a problem. So far, no lemon! I hope it stays as great!
